"Seagate External 3TB not recognized in Windows 10",I have a Segate 3TB external drive. I purchased with Windows 10. I was able to access the drive initially. When I went to copy some files, it was not recognized. Here is what I have done so far. 1) Removed drive from case, and attached to external supply. The disk starts to spin, then I hear a sound about 5 times (guessing it is trying to access data) and then stops. 2) I checked device manager. The disk drive driver is there, and there are no yellow flag on either USB or disk drive. I have about 5 years of pictures and video on this drive, need to get the data back. I tried reinstalling the drivers for USB and disk drive.. USB reinstalled. Disk driver said it was up to date. I am going to try it on another PC today, just to be sure. My previous PC was running Vista.. This is running Windows 10.. Also, I did setup the backup to go to this drive, so not sure if that may have caused the problem. I would appreciate any help with this.. I want to make sure to exhaust all my 'software' options, before taking it in to have the data restored.
